A sensitively restored Sydney Harbour residence that honours the character of its inter-war Mediterranean architecture.

Perched on a cliff overlooking Sydney Harbour, this remarkable home has been thoughtfully restored and expanded by Lawless & Meyerson. Approached with the discipline of a conservation project, original architectural details were restored or faithfully replicated, whilst previously fragmented spaces were opened and connected to create a more cohesive home for contemporary living.

Throughout the interior, a richly layered palette of aged French oak, marble, limestone and classical detailing creates spaces that feel both timeless and deeply personal. From the light-filled kitchen and living areas to the more intimate private rooms, the home balances refinement and comfort while honouring the character of the original residence.

Our Fentiman Door Knobs, finished in Dark Bronze Waxed, feature on the French doors throughout the living spaces. The traditional form and living finish bring a quiet sense of permanence to the interior, ageing gracefully alongside the natural materials used throughout the home.

In the kitchen, our Buxton Cup Cabinet Handles, in the same rich bronze finish, were selected for the cabinetry, contributing to the understated and timeless aesthetic of the space. They bring depth and warmth to the joinery, reflecting the thoughtful attention to detail evident throughout the interior.
