Celebrating Craftsmanship
HAND-FINISHING
Each handle starts with a solid brass base. We use traditional finishing methods, working the finish into the brass on a polishing wheel to build layers of colour, which gives the final result a depth and tone which takes time to achieve. Every piece we create receives this treatment and level of detail.
LEATHER CRAFT
We use the finest quality bridle leather leather for our products. Each handle is wrapped in leather and hand-stitched by skilled artisans based in Britain.
WORKING WITH MARBLE & PRECIOUS STONES
A beautiful material to work with, the veins in Italian marble are natural fault lines, making it difficult to work with. Our engineering team was able to create an innovative solution to ensure marble and brass elements could be combined seamlessly, a flawless balance between form and function.
PATTERN MAKING & CASTING
Lost wax casting is a traditional manufacturing method that has been used for centuries. The complex process has many steps and involves multiple skilled craftspeople to achieve the final result. GLASS & CRYSTAL
Solid brass and glass create a striking aesthetic contrast. We use borosilicate glass and specialist bonding techniques to seamlessly combine these two very different materials, to create distinctive and innovative hardware designs.
HAMMERING
Our hammered hardware textures are achieved by carefully applying a large ball-pein hammer to a heated brass product. A skilled and meticulous process, every strike of the hammer creates a new, unique mark.
