The design of the Velo Collection embraces the concept of marginal gains, inspired by the success of the British cycling team.


Each element is optimized for performance, from the seamless curved rocker to the tactile toggles and embedded dimmer knob all beautifully tied together with the halo design element, inspired by the sprinter's lane, evokes a sense of motion and energy.


Mounted on a 3mm solid brass plate with honed edges provides a crisp yet softened aesthetic.


With customisable options and matching finishes, Velo empowers you to create a bespoke space that harmoniously blends elegance and control, elevating it to the pinnacle of electrical accessories.

At Joseph Giles, we take pride in the meticulous craftsmanship of our Velo Plate, and Switches, which are expertly fashioned using top-quality solid brass. Each piece undergoes a detailed hand-finishing process, highlighting the exceptional artistry intrinsic to all Joseph Giles products.


This 13A switched fused spur is ideal for the connection of fixed appliances such as central heating boilers and water heaters. This is intended for use in a fixed wiring system and should not be used where there is a mix of flex and solid cable.


These items are thoughtfully designed to be individually supplied, featuring concealed fixings for a sleek and seamless appearance. Fuse insert available in Black or White We recommend a box depth of 35mm for installation, and they are specifically engineered to operate with a supply voltage of 250V AC.

Rose Mechanism

SPBEARING

Stainless steel roses with springing mechanism and sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The unique rota-bearing sprung rose brings smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common lever handle issues. The unique rota-bearing sprung rose is our preferred option to be used with all lever handles.

BEARING

Stainless steel roses with sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. The unique bearing rose is our preferred option to be used with all door knobs.

BASIC

Flat aluminium rose, that may have to be used in some situations where the Grip Tight, Self-centring, Sprung Bearing Inner-Rose System cannot be accommodated, for example, thin metal doors.

This rose option is not our preferred rose to supply with lever handles or door knobs, it does not offer any of the properties and or performance of the grip tight or sprung rose designs, and operation of the handles are purely down to the strength of the lock and highly accurate installation.

FIXED

Stainless steel roses with TIG-welded fixed spindles.

A highly durable fixed rose for use where a lever handle or door knob is not required to turn, or rotate but is needed to be installed in a push/pull application, e.g. when used in conjunction with a magnetic catch on a cupboard door.

HSTO BEARING

Stainless steel single sided rose with TIG welded spindle with bearing for smooth operation, designed for lever handles and door knobs.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. To be operated from one side of the door by the use of a single door knob.
