WN1107: Albert Surface Espagnolette

PRODUCT STORY

Our surface mounted Cremone (Espagnolette) bolts have been meticulously crafted to enhance the sophisticated aesthetic of French doors and windows featuring slender profiles.


Available are configurations of locking/non-locking and with cranked rod options.  You can also have a door knob on the external side of the door alongside a lock that is only accessible from the inside, ensuring practicality and security.


What's more, our innovative design (patent pending) eliminates the need for precise rod measurements, as they can be easily trimmed to the desired length on-site. When paired with our Albert door knob, it becomes an ideal complement for both contemporary and modern design schemes.

DETAILS

This traditional cremone bolt is made from the finest grade solid brass and is available in all our signature finishes.


x2 Rods supplied at 1.5 meter length- cut to size and fitted on site.


Locking option available, with key sold separately under WN1091 to work with all Joseph Giles window products.


Supplied as single items with fixings in either Left or Right configurations.

Rose Mechanism

SPBEARING

Stainless steel roses with springing mechanism and sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The unique rota-bearing sprung rose brings smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common lever handle issues. The unique rota-bearing sprung rose is our preferred option to be used with all lever handles.

BEARING

Stainless steel roses with sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. The unique bearing rose is our preferred option to be used with all door knobs.

BASIC

Flat aluminium rose, that may have to be used in some situations where the Grip Tight, Self-centring, Sprung Bearing Inner-Rose System cannot be accommodated, for example, thin metal doors.

This rose option is not our preferred rose to supply with lever handles or door knobs, it does not offer any of the properties and or performance of the grip tight or sprung rose designs, and operation of the handles are purely down to the strength of the lock and highly accurate installation.

FIXED

Stainless steel roses with TIG-welded fixed spindles.

A highly durable fixed rose for use where a lever handle or door knob is not required to turn, or rotate but is needed to be installed in a push/pull application, e.g. when used in conjunction with a magnetic catch on a cupboard door.

HSTO BEARING

Stainless steel single sided rose with TIG welded spindle with bearing for smooth operation, designed for lever handles and door knobs.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. To be operated from one side of the door by the use of a single door knob.
