Warrnambool House

A refined country residence shaped by heritage architecture and richly layered interiors.
Located near Warrnambool in Victoria, this historic homestead has been carefully transformed into a warm and inviting family home by Kimpton Interiors, in collaboration with interior architects Ng Feathers Interiors. Originally an early 20th-century country property, the home has been sensitively reconfigured to support modern living while preserving the character and charm that define its rich history.
Throughout the home, traditional architectural features sit alongside a layered and highly personal interior scheme. Original timber floors, archways and stained-glass windows have been retained, complemented by a carefully curated palette of colour, texture and natural materials. The result is a home that balances classic proportions with a warm and welcoming contemporary atmosphere.
Our Darlington Lever Handle, finished in Mid Antique Brass Waxed, was featured throughout the project. Complementing the home's heritage detailing, the understated design provides a refined and consistent thread across the interior. From the entrance hall to the bedrooms and living spaces, the aged brass finish sits comfortably alongside the rich palette of textiles, bespoke joinery and decorative finishes, bringing warmth and subtle character to each room.
