Floor & Frame Pivot with Double Way Arm Set

Floor pivot set with heavy duty bearing technology available for both single and double action doors. This pivot set does not have a self-closing function, however, is designed for free swing door sets. The PV1011 is Certifire approved (FD30) and is mechanically guaranteed for 10 years.

Normally used in applications where doors are very heavy or traditional butt hinges cannot be used because of a bespoke frame detail. These pivots are designed to be hidden within the thickness of a 44mm door when the door is closed. A recess of 15mm is required below the floor surface. 

The ‘heel’ side of the door will need to be radiused slightly to ensure the door edge clears the frame when pivoting back and forth, this is standard for double action pivot doors.

These pivot sets will suit doors that:

• Weigh up to 400kg
• Are a minimum 44mm thick
• Are a maximum of 1800mm wide

Different height spindle extensions between 5mm and 50mm are available if the floor pivot part is being fitted underneath a floor substrate – these spindles cannot be changed on-site.
