Inspired by the slender forms of car aerodynamics, the Wedge pays homage to the classic car manufacturing of the 1950s-1970s, when vehicles were made by hand, with carefully considered and crafted details.
One car that particularly caught our eye with its angular lines is the Ferrari Dino 308 GT4. We have endeavoured to replicate this detail in the design of the Wedge handles.
If you're wondering which finish type to select, here's the key difference: living finishes gently patinate and change over time, ageing gracefully, whilst ageless finishes are either naturally unchanging, or boast a protective ceramic coating which mean the finish stays consistent.
Details
The Wedge door lever handles are made from the finest grade solid brass and are carefully hand-finished in all the standard Joseph Giles finishes.
All our lever handles are supplied with our innovative minimalist rose fitting. The minimalist roses enable the full purity of the handle design to be appreciated; however, the minimalist rose does not come with the benefits of the JG sprung bearing grip tight inner roses. These handles will need to be installed by very skilled joinery craftsmen.
Pair of lever handles includes:
One pair of lever handles (two pieces, 1 left-handed and 1 right-handed)
One pair of minimalist roses (designed to be recessed into the door)
One set of fixings for lever handles which include washers, grub screws, an Allen key, and an 8mm (5/16) spindle to suit doors up to 54mm (2.12") thick
**Please note, levers with a minimalist rose cannot be used as a single operating lever or dead fixed singularly.**
