The design story

The Winfield collection follows the timeless and simple geometry of a classic cushion door knob from the Victorian era. Made from solid brass and hand-finished, the enduring character of the door knob lends any interior a feeling of refined quality. RW Winfield & Co. were one of the first brass foundries to be established in Birmingham in 1887, and the classic cushion door knob design acknowledges the industry's roots.
