PRODUCT STORY

This single point, handle controlled electric lock is electronically controlled from one side, with free egress from the other. We supply this with a solid brass forend and fixings in all our signature finishes so that the finishes can be easily suited with other JG hardware.


Recommended for medium traffic doors, such as interior doors in an office.

DETAILS

This mortice lock can be electronically controlled by a remote control or access control system from one side, and mechanically operated by the inside handle. The lock can also be mechanically operated by eurocylinder.


The lock can be switched between fail-safe and fail-secure modes. In fail-safe mode, the release will unlock when power is removed and in the fail-secure mode, it will lock when power is removed.


Includes:

  • Lock case (the actual lock) with solid brass/stainless steel forend plate fitted
  • Solid brass/stainless steel strike plate (plate that is fitted to the frame)
  • Fixing pack with solid brass slotted screws

SPBEARING

Stainless steel roses with springing mechanism and sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The unique rota-bearing sprung rose brings smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common lever handle issues. The unique rota-bearing sprung rose is our preferred option to be used with all lever handles.

BEARING

Stainless steel roses with sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. The unique bearing rose is our preferred option to be used with all door knobs.

BASIC

Flat aluminium rose, that may have to be used in some situations where the Grip Tight, Self-centring, Sprung Bearing Inner-Rose System cannot be accommodated, for example, thin metal doors.

This rose option is not our preferred rose to supply with lever handles or door knobs, it does not offer any of the properties and or performance of the grip tight or sprung rose designs, and operation of the handles are purely down to the strength of the lock and highly accurate installation.

FIXED

Stainless steel roses with TIG-welded fixed spindles.

A highly durable fixed rose for use where a lever handle or door knob is not required to turn, or rotate but is needed to be installed in a push/pull application, e.g. when used in conjunction with a magnetic catch on a cupboard door.

HSTO BEARING

Stainless steel single sided rose with TIG welded spindle with bearing for smooth operation, designed for lever handles and door knobs.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. To be operated from one side of the door by the use of a single door knob.
