Description:
Bronze is a metal alloy, a beautiful and malleable material to work with. The high proportion of copper causes a distinctive reddish hue, and also gives bronze the added benefit of natural anti-microbial properties.
Products available in RPBZ have been hand-made from high quality silicone bronze, using traditional casting methods. The surface has been hand-polished to give it a shiny appearance, showcasing the natural colour and texture of the bronze.
What will happen over time:
Real polished bronze is a living finish which will oxidise and age steadily over time, darkening and dulling to develop its own natural patina.
Where it can be used:
We recommend that this finish is used in internal areas. It can be used externally, although it will patinate much faster.
Maintenance:
Wipe any fingerprints off with a dry, soft cloth. This finish is not compatible with chemical-based cleaners, soaps or abrasive materials.
