PRODUCT STORY

Developed to make a real statement, the Williamson Jnr lever handle has the sinuous curves and bold ribbing synonymous with the Art Deco period. Part of the ‘Williamson’ Family, creating a carefully co-ordinated look across a scheme is easy. With a concealed rose there is nothing to distract from this confident and tactile design, an extrovert highlight designed to elevate any interior.

The ‘Williamson’ is inspired by the beautiful and much-sought after aesthetics of the Art Deco period during the 1920s and 1930s. This is a time when exuberance was a way of life for the likes of the Fitzgeralds, Hemingway and jazz aficionados. With the ‘Williamson’ lever handle, you can add a pocket of the extravagance of the jazz-era into your living space.

DETAILS

The ‘WILLIAMSON JNR’ door lever handles are made from the finest grade solid brass and are carefully hand-finished in all the standard Joseph Giles finishes.


All our lever handles come with a 10-year mechanical guarantee and are supplied with the unique JG sprung bearing grip tight inner roses.


*Pair of lever handles includes:

One pair of lever handles (two pieces, 1 left-handed and 1 right-handed)

One pair of decorative cover roses (four pieces, two plates which fix to the door, and two covers)

One pair of unique JG sprung bearing grip tight inner roses** (two pieces, 1 left-handed and 1 right-handed)

One set of fixings for lever handles which include screws, bolt through fixings, washers, grub screws, allen key, and an 8mm (5/16) spindle to suit doors up to 54mm (2.12”) thick


*Levers are also available as single handles (left-handed or right-handed).

** Other types of JG inner roses are available for specialist applications, see the ‘Rose mechanism booklet’, however, we strongly recommend sprung bearing grip tight rose because of its incredible performance.

Rose Mechanism

SPBEARING

Stainless steel roses with springing mechanism and sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The unique rota-bearing sprung rose brings smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common lever handle issues. The unique rota-bearing sprung rose is our preferred option to be used with all lever handles.

BEARING

Stainless steel roses with sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. The unique bearing rose is our preferred option to be used with all door knobs.

BASIC

Flat aluminium rose, that may have to be used in some situations where the Grip Tight, Self-centring, Sprung Bearing Inner-Rose System cannot be accommodated, for example, thin metal doors.

This rose option is not our preferred rose to supply with lever handles or door knobs, it does not offer any of the properties and or performance of the grip tight or sprung rose designs, and operation of the handles are purely down to the strength of the lock and highly accurate installation.

FIXED

Stainless steel roses with TIG-welded fixed spindles.

A highly durable fixed rose for use where a lever handle or door knob is not required to turn, or rotate but is needed to be installed in a push/pull application, e.g. when used in conjunction with a magnetic catch on a cupboard door.

HSTO BEARING

Stainless steel single sided rose with TIG welded spindle with bearing for smooth operation, designed for lever handles and door knobs.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. To be operated from one side of the door by the use of a single door knob.
