Our 'Alexander' range is inspired by fine British silverware and its history. In particular, the city of Sheffield has been famous for its production of cutlery since the 17th century.
The style of cutlery that inspired us was the Grecian pattern, with its 'cut-off' corner style and single bevelled edge, first designed and made in Sheffield in 1929.

This rose option is not our preferred rose to supply with lever handles or door knobs, it does not offer any of the properties and or performance of the grip tight or sprung rose designs, and operation of the handles are purely down to the strength of the lock and highly accurate installation.
