EP1008: Cube Small Leather Edge Pull

Please note, this product is made to order and quantity discounts are available.

PRODUCT STORY

The 'CUBE' edge pull series was one of our first products. Designed in the late 90’s it is still as popular today, a testament to the timelessness of the design. Although the design philosophy is minimalism, the handle is so discreet and versatile it can be used in many different styles of interior design.

With this version, we added a further layer of handcraftsmanship with a very carefully and neatly bound leather band.

DETAILS

These ‘Cube’ edge pulls are made from the finest grade solid brass and wrapped in bridle leather. They are available in eight standard lengths and all our metal finishes and leather colours.

The edge pull is a discreet handle that is recessed into the top or side edge and the back of a cabinet door/draw and screw fixed from the back. These small-size (45mm projection) edge pulls can comfortably be used on doors/drawers up to 22mm thick.

Available in eight standard lengths, bespoke lengths can also be provided for both plated and living finishes, although due to constraints on the size of leather we cannot go beyond 1.2m. For longer lengths (anything over 150mm), we strongly recommend that the weight of the handles and the impact this will have on the hinges is carefully considered.

Supplied as single items with solid brass slotted woodscrews that are finished to match the edge pull.

**Please note that Joseph Giles cannot guarantee that the longer edge (that incorporates the grip) on our edge pulls will be exactly 90 degrees – this is due to the extrusion manufacturing process and is particularly important if the pulls are being fitted side by side, the handles will tend to curl slightly away from each other**
