Nowadays, with the newest technology emerging in hardware, items are often made using state of the art machinery, for both its efficiencies and precision finish. However, there’s something to be said about the appeal of the vintage tools of yesteryears; such as the ones you might still find in old toolboxes at the back of the shed. For example, the pocket scriber helps guide a saw by creating indentations on the wood and a pin vice is a miniature drill perfect for working with small details. Although these tools are still used today, their appearance has changed, and they have become noticeably sleeker. However, being a company devoted not only to traditional crafting methods, but to the process of allowing small details to have a large impact, we thought it appropriate to design the CP1109 in the spirit of the vintage versions of small, but useful tools. The beautifully textured sides of this cabinet pull are reminiscent of those found on a scriber or pin vice; which allows for a functional grip as well as beauty. The solid brass form ensures a lifetime of use, and like these tools will go the distance in crafting your perfect space.
