Product Story

Our ‘CH1093’ cabinet handle was inspired by one of the most striking British car designs of all time, the Lotus Esprit. Designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, the Esprit featured bold angular lines and was the first of the ‘folded paper’ designs for Lotus; a stark contrast to the more curved cars of the 1960s.

Whilst the design is incredibly striking on its own, the Esprit gained fame and is probably best known for its involvement in one of the most iconic film chases of all time – James Bond’s The Spy Who Loved Me. The white 1976 Esprit is also one of the most popular Bond cars as it doubled as a submarine and is forever linked with the James Bond of the time Roger Moore.

Our cabinet handle pays homage to the angular aesthetic of the Esprit and is a perfect choice for any contemporary design scheme.
