PRODUCT STORY

The Cube Collection was designed almost two decades ago, in response to a gap in the market for architects, who, at the time, couldn’t find contemporary ironmongery that was both beautiful and practical.

The Cube was one of our first major product designs, nothing like this had previously existed, and its success gave us the confidence in our ability to design and experiment with different materials and styles. While there have been many imitations of the Cube, we are proud to say that it is truly ours and is ingrained into our history. Its success undoubtedly had a part in shaping the direction of the business, and today we have an unrivalled collection of beautiful hardware and remain focused on innovation and design excellence.

DETAILS

This pair of solid brass Cube shower door knobs are supplied with two special fixings to ensure that the knob cannot rotate and nylon washers to ensure that the glass is not damaged, the fixings will suit 10-12mm thick glass.


We do not recommend using our shower fittings in our living finishes (DBZW, MABW, BBW, PBW, BCO, and PCO) because they can be damaged if exposed to certain soaps and cleaning products.

Rose Mechanism

SPBEARING

Stainless steel roses with springing mechanism and sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The unique rota-bearing sprung rose brings smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common lever handle issues. The unique rota-bearing sprung rose is our preferred option to be used with all lever handles.

BEARING

Stainless steel roses with sealed ball bearings, for optimum performance.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. The unique bearing rose is our preferred option to be used with all door knobs.

BASIC

Flat aluminium rose, that may have to be used in some situations where the Grip Tight, Self-centring, Sprung Bearing Inner-Rose System cannot be accommodated, for example, thin metal doors.

This rose option is not our preferred rose to supply with lever handles or door knobs, it does not offer any of the properties and or performance of the grip tight or sprung rose designs, and operation of the handles are purely down to the strength of the lock and highly accurate installation.

FIXED

Stainless steel roses with TIG-welded fixed spindles.

A highly durable fixed rose for use where a lever handle or door knob is not required to turn, or rotate but is needed to be installed in a push/pull application, e.g. when used in conjunction with a magnetic catch on a cupboard door.

HSTO BEARING

Stainless steel single sided rose with TIG welded spindle with bearing for smooth operation, designed for lever handles and door knobs.

The bearing rose to bring smooth, positive and flawless operation while addressing all the common door knob issues. To be operated from one side of the door by the use of a single door knob.
