Being responsible for the overall performance and direction of the business I find it essential to keep in touch with the market and spend a good proportion of my time with customers – which is very enjoyable and fuels my passion for providing great customer service. We have a great team at Joseph Giles and keeping in touch with everyone and creating a healthy culture is also high on my list of priorities. I am also heavily involved in designing and developing products and unfortunately we always seem to have far more good ideas than we do time. If you would like to meet me, please get in touch!

I like to take a plunge in the Channel on Christmas day – it’s one of these good old English traditions that no one knows why we do it and where it came from!

On a daily basis I maintain supplier relationships, monitor supplier compliance, handle sourcing, vetting and ensure the correct materials arrive at the correct time and fit neatly into our budget and estimates. In order to maintain operational efficiency I also take part in managing the flow of inventories.

Purchasing and Supply Chain Management specialist with Master’s Distinction and CIPS accreditation, I also have a BTEC in Architecture. I enjoy reworking and rethinking systems and processes where necessary and get excited at the prospect of new tech.
