Hex product suite – new products
Just launched today at an all-staff event (with cakes), these new cabinet handles and pulls are based on a simple hexagonal profile.
The growth of this product ‘suite’ – or collection of matching hardware items – is a good example of how our process often works. The first product, a hexagonal profile door pull, was developed from a client request. The architect had spotted a beautiful handle on a magazine image, snapped it on his phone and sent over a fuzzy yet inspiring image to us. We then created working drawings, samples and finally manufactured the bespoke product which later further evolved and became a valuable addition to our Joseph Giles Collection. The popularity of this pull handle led to the creation of a matching lever handle, and other bespoke requests for complementary hardware.
Our research and development team identified this style as an opportunity to create a family of co-ordinated hardware, and each piece in the range was carefully considered, designed and re-designed, with 3D prototypes produced until the full sign-off panel were all happy everything would stand by the Joseph Giles brand promise and gave the green light for production. Manufactured here in the UK from high quality solid brass, the suite is available in our high-quality brass and plated finishes, including brushed and polished brass and nickel, chrome and hand-applied ‘living’ finishes such as dark bronze and antique brass.
