Filming at JG
Joseph Giles were selected by a global training and consultancy firm to participate in a training webinar as a case study.
Producer Sally Eden and crew Andrew Mickelburgh and Paul Zanders were fascinated by the Joseph Giles story and how the company has changed from a simple ironmongers to providing bespoke services for architects working on some of the most prestigious homes around the world. “We get to see a lot of businesses in the job we do, but Joseph Giles really caught our imagination,” said Sally.
“The products are so stunning they took our breath away, and the way Joseph Giles can react so quickly to bring an architects dream to life is amazing.”
The crew spent the day in the London offices filming everything from the R&D department to packing up a bespoke order. “Having a film crew in your offices can be intrusive, but everyone at Joseph Giles was so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help,” said Sally. “So it’s obvious where their success comes from – their attitude to us reflects their excellent customer service.”
The finished film will tell the extraordinary story of a family business that now provides exclusive architectural hardware around the globe, proud to be a British company with British designs that are made in Britain.
