Buildings you love The British Museum, I love the contrast between the original neo classical structure set against the tessellated glass roof in the Great Court . Also the station, Kings Cross St Pancras, I lived opposite for a number of years and was awestruck every single time I walked past
Textures you like and don’t like

Natural textures, Leather, timber, weathered & pitted metals and polished plaster.

Anything overly designed or embellished

Favourite all time colour scheme Layers of grey and warm whites with hints of antique brass
Trip that most inspired you

It has to be Paris. There’s so much design and history in the buildings and spaces but Tuscany ‘s simple and utilitarian use of materials has to come a close second if not equal.
Whose personal style you admire Joseph Dirand’s luxurious minimalism makes his spaces look so effortless and inviting.
What catches your eye first when you walk into a room The cleanliness of lines and a design rhythm in the detail
What should people be generous with in a room Their use of light that can either be natural or through well designed lighting schemes. Light is always a starting point when designing a space
What’s your favourite environment to create for Bathrooms. The balance between, practicality, luxury and tranquillity is a fine one; you need to be meticulous in the detail to make them special
If you’re on a tight budget, where can you save money Bathrooms again, there are so many variants of materials and fittings available now that allow you to reduce the spec but the design and detailing don’t need to change
Blogs to be inspired by

I’m not big into blogs and prefer to be inspired from travel, architecture and interiors
What would other people say your favourite saying is “Think of the detail”
